Biopropane (or bio-LPG) and rDME (renewable dimethyl ether) are a couple of examples of liquefied renewable gas. The chemical composition of renewable gas is virtually identical to that of fossil propane. The difference lies in its origin.

Renewable gas is produced from a mix of waste streams from the food industry and renewable vegetable oils. This reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 80%.

Biopropane is already available in some of our gas cylinders, and it is already possible to opt for a mix of conventional propane and biopropane in the gas tank.
